Winter... Oh the coldest time of the year. Beautiful, I must say, snow is like Innocence.
My name is Isabella - I don't remember my childhood, it's as if It was purposely erased from my mind, and I was just left. I felt empty, like I didn't know who I was.
My dad said he found me in the Forrest, just a few miles away from our house, though I find it hard to believe I was just thrown out like garbage...
Whoever gave birth to me is worth nothing...
And the weirdest thing about me was how I had a strange scar/birthmark. It looked like an X, but with a circle around it, as if someone purposely marked me. It was hidden on my waist, and once in a while, I would stare at it, trying to figure out its meaning.
Clicking my cell phone, I sigh, seeing that a few jocks from my high school sent me text messages like, 'hey bby, Wan2 go out wit me?'
Of course, I reject. Those boy aren't worth my time - I deserve better.... well, I like to think.
Throughout my life, I had always been teased. From 1st grade to now, girls would tug my hair and make fun of my caramelish eyes. I had long bouncy curls, but they made me feel so uncomfortable, I straitened it permanently. I have a slightly polite accent, and everyone laughs every time I speak a presentation. And my skin, ... oh, my horrible skin.. I'm so pale, no matter what I did, and girls would call me names like "Zombie Girl."
It hurts, but I pay no attention anymore. I'm the brightest one in my classes, and have all A's. I'm only 14, and a freshman, but I've already been accepted to Junior year studies because of my grades and scores. I don't bother though, because I absolutely bore my studies.
I sat up on my back stairs, looking off my apartment balcony. I had just moved out of the city, since dad needed to head out to his childhood home to chill out for the time being, and now, I was living just a few inches out of the city, so there were many woods, and lots of strange animals. Also, a beautiful lake, which I called Eerie, since I've seen so many creatures seek out of the deep, black, waters.
"Isabella...", I heard my father's voice, and I hopped up in a lazy manner, snapping out of thought, and rushing inside from the cold air. Turns out he was in the kitchen, cutting up a sandwich, and chugging milk from the jug. His real name was Mason, the man who was only a single, college kid virgin who found me and decided to dedicate his years to protect me.
"Dad..." I whined and laughed in disgust. He was a heavy smoker, so whenever he would chug drinks, it would taste disgusting.
"What?" He replied, giving me that look as if he were trying to say, 'Hush'. I shrugged my shoulders, and looked out my high window, seeing Eerie and the dark woods before it. I stared... those dark, dry, and crippled branches swayed in the wind. They were naked, since it was winter, and icicles hung off them pitifully. I turned back to dad, who was chomping down.
"Hey, Can I take a walk?"
"Where will you be Isabel?"
"..just around, exploring. I might go to see Lake Eerie."
He looked up, cheeks full, and he nodded. "Fine. But the latest I want you is 9."
I smiled, hugging him. "Thanks Dad." And I left rushing out that door... not expecting much to happen like this....
~Slender Man POV.~
I sat outside the house, on the roof. Ugh, winter, the time were hunting becomes hard, and my house mates get more impatient by the minute. I looked at the icicle above my head, and stretch my arm out to the transparent stick of ice, gently snapping it off. I look at it, in a bit of hunger, and stab it against the roof. Then, I hear that childish tone.
"Ayo! What are you doing, Slender?!" It was Jeff. Known as Jeff the Killer, but his standards to me seem too low to give him such a name. He was only 19, but I at least expected some maturity by now. The teen wore a pair of black sagging jeans, an old pair of Sneakers, and his snow-white hoodie. But his face is what'll interest you more. Black rimmed eyes, pale skin, and that retched smile, carved into his cheeks.
I slip off the roof, gracefully on my feet, and stretch to 10 feet tall.
"Jeff, come. We are going hunting." I said, turning around and slowing walking.
His eyes went wider than they already were, and a face of disgust crossed his smile. "Aww, come on! Slender, I'm not meant for that shit! I live to kill~" He said with such suspense and mystery in his voice, patting the knife in his hoodie pocket.
If I had eyes, I'd roll them.
I forcefully picked up Jeff by his hood by my silky tentacle and lifted him above me as I sped off. He yelled out and started swinging his arms around like a child.
"Let me go! Hey! HEY! What the fuck-"
He continued to complain, but I needed to support us. Our misunderstood family.
Yes...our family. Our Family of Insanity... Until I find her once again...
I walked up the hill, up enough that I could see that crippled trees once again. My black hair swayed in the cold air, making me shiver and my cheeks flush with heat. I step slowly, soon reaching the wood's entrance. It was large, scary. I walked right in, a smile on my face, and my light skin reflecting the snow. I smelled in that fresh earthy smell - At the same time, a sick, dark, metallic one. I scoffed when I sniffed that in, and shook my head.
Then, that's when I heard a male voice, I could hear it cussing and a deep, groaning one replying to it. I stepped back, and then looked around, my large eyes scanning my area.
"H-Hello...?" I whispered. Thats when, everything stopped, and I was in the greatest shock ever...
